Group lessons are also available for those with a group of their own wishing private courses.

 

Gary is as passionate about teaching painting as he is in creating his own art. During the classes his focus is completely on you and your artistic growth in how to create the paintings you have dreamed about creating and being the artist you truly desire to become. All this in a nurturing, well organized environment helping to facilitate your growth as an artist and opening up to the intuitive creative process. Perhaps different than many instructors Gary has come to understand that creating in not just about technique or imagination but opening up to creative energy.  Opening to the feminine within the source of creation.  He has been a featured speaker on angels and spirituality in art and his spiritual gentleness is evident in his paintings and his manner when teaching. His work with color is inspired by personal visions and experiences and he strongly believes that each color carries a unique vibration and offers healing qualities. Intention in expression also translates into a work of art and communicates to viewers. Composition, painting medium, brushstrokes and technique are all important, but even more so Gary understands that intent, feeling, trusting in your intuition, even how one breaths helps an artist to find their own unique expression and signature to the work they create. Equally important is not just looking at a painting you are creating with your eyes and judging it with your intellect but seeing it from your inner self. During the workshop we will not just focus only on creating works of art but embracing the spirit of being an artist, finding that magical moment of joy when creating. Creating art is not so much a destination but a wonderful enchanting journey.
